Yulia, you started your business with a small style studio. It’s been nine years. And now you have a huge Wellness Center. How have you managed to grow so much, given the situation in the market?
Of course because of the support. My family and friends. Of course, any crisis in life and business knocks you down for a while, but it also makes you realize who you really care about, who is ready to lend a helping hand and will believe in you, no matter what.
What struggles have you faced during this time?
I can’t list them all. The hardest thing, in my opinion, is always breaking up with people. You know, there are entrepreneurs who can cold-heartedly fire people who are not showing decent results. They are worthy of respect because I understand very well what business is and what its main goal is. But I like to create, help, cultivate and reveal talents of my employees. And therefore the number of chances to prove myself, which I give, is much greater than those that require common sense.
Your business has undergone serious changes recently. The number of employees has exceeded a hundred, and several new directions have appeared. Tell us about them.
They have. Right now most of the team’s efforts are focused on integrating the Clinic into the overall company structure. And also to develop products that could give every client the opportunity to save time and get health and beauty in one place. I can honestly tell you, the task is not an easy one. I set a goal for the team to make sure that every client would rate the quality of service and results as high as possible.
What do you mean when you talk about saving time?
My daughter Tanya, who now lives in London, told me about the new Me Time trend that recently appeared in England. It’s basically time you spend on yourself, on your Beauty and Health. It’s a restorative daily practice that needs to be made a habit. We, on the other hand, want to make our clients’ lives easier by providing them with a full range of self-care treatments and services. And also to guide them professionally on this path, using the knowledge and experience of the best doctors, trainers, chefs, stylists and managers.
Aren’t you afraid that now is not the best time to make this kind of change?
I think everyone deserves to thrive. That there is no wrong time to take care of yourself. Because if you are in a resource, you have enough love for yourself and you value yourself, only in that state can you share with others. And there is no other way.
Who do you think might be interested in such a product?
As soon as I started building Sandler, I saw myself and my husband as my ideal client. It seems to me that it’s easier to build a business when you know what your customers are thinking, what they want, what their habits and needs are. Like any woman, I want to be beautiful, healthy, desirable, sexy, smart, fit, flexible, full of love energy and, of course, happy.
I want to live life to the fullest, listen to great music, drive fast cars, communicate with interesting people, climb to the top, raise wonderful children. I want to have time for everything that really matters to me. And if there is an opportunity to multiply my time and quality of life, I will definitely take advantage of that opportunity. I see people who feel the same way as clients of the Sandler Wellness Center. And it doesn’t matter if they are men or women. Our door is open to everyone.
In addition to your company, there are many other companies on the market. Can you name your five strongest points?

Tell us about your plans in the near future. What projects are you launching right now?
We are now launching a Style management program, in which I participated, and in support of the program we have released a video, the heroes of which are bright charismatic people of all ages and professions: Diana Stavnitser, Katya Lyubchik, Polina Nenya, Arina Lyubiteleva, Irina Kostyuk. The soundtrack of the video was a freckle of the Ukrainian folk band Go-A, and the scenery was the streets of Kiev. The program provides for a complete transformation of the client, which involves a psychologist, a stylist, and a team of beauty experts.
Many nuances are taken into account: fabrics, colors, haircuts, styles of hair styling, makeup for everyday and festive occasions. As a result, the client receives a personal program with clear recommendations for style and image.
What would you advise to our readers?
Don’t forget the most important thing you have – your health. Taking care of yourself begins with a competent examination. Once every six months to seek advice from specialists. After all, prevention is always better than cure. And good immunity, systematically maintained, will overcome any disease.
